Tomasino Farms, Inc. is a family-owned business with more than 30 years’ experience in the agricultural trade industry. We provide a secure and reliable platform for Latin American Growers to market their Tropical Products within U.S. and Europe Markets. We’re a U.S. and Swiss Importer with boots on the ground in Central and South America since 2001.
USA
In 1994, we established a food trading company (General Brands International, Inc.)that specialized in the import of spices, grains, fresh produce and ingredients on a bulk basis. We sourced product direct from India, China and Central & South America and distributed LTL and FCL deliveries to both United States and Canadian markets. Our business progressed to an online business-to-business marketplace for buying and selling food products which launched online in 1997 as “The Food Trader Exchange, Inc.” then later evolved to FoodTrader.com, Inc.
Costa Rica
In 2001, Mr. Luis Tomasino Q. relocated to Costa Rica to source Tropical Produce from Latin America. Soon after arriving to Costa Rica, Mr Tomasino Q. partnered with a Costa Rican Fruit Export Company, which shipped multiple containers of Pineapple weekly to US, Canadian and European markets.

We are a reliable and direct source of Tropical Products. Tomasino Farms, Inc. provides a hassle-free door-to-door service tailored to our customer’s needs. We inspect, ship, import and deliver to European and U.S. markets! Tomasino Farms, Inc. is a Florida company with centralized back-office and purchasing operations in San Jose, Costa Rica. We invest a substantial portion of our resources at the Farm & Packinghouse level, guaranteeing our customer the highest quality and security standards! Our Costa Rica presence enables us to work hand-and-hand with the “Latin American Farming Community”, providing a secure and reliable marketing platform for top farmers, extending these benefits to our valued buyers! Switzerland
In 2021, our family business expanded into European Markets through a strategic Import & Distribution Family Partnership.
Based meters away from the U.N. headquarters in Geneva, Mr. Nicolas Dues manages Key European Accounts as well as the high-demanding door-to-door logistics to various European destinations.
